Just Desserts! is a satire about the ways in which employees cope with office politics. Our hero, Allen, is a middle manager who naively believes that he can get ahead by working hard. When a co-worker is unjustly fired, Allen's frustration manifests divine intervention in the form of two gods (Diana and Merc). The gods provide exposition, but they also interact with the mortals by playing secondary roles such as office temps, security guards, and auditors. The gods' frustration with their own jobs mirrors that of the office workers they've been called upon to help. Will it be business as usual, or will the big bosses finally get their Just Desserts.
